The purpose of this article is to explain the difference between the interview modes available and how to activate each.
Strict Mode
When enabled, Candidates who leave interview early will re-enter at the next question. Preventing the candidate from starting the same question twice.
Permissive Mode
Candidates who leave the interview question early, will re-enter at the beginning of the same question in progress when they left (assuming there are no time limits in effect that would auto-complete the current question).
How to enable Strict Mode
Contact your Account Manager or interviewstream Technical Support
Important Notes:
- In both modes, candidates will be able to request an interview re-set via the Message Center* after they have completed the entire interview.
*To use the Message Center it must be enabled at the company level by your Account Manager.
- Recruiters will be able to use the "Re-Do Specific Questions" feature to authorize new attempts.
