The Message Center is the best way to contact the recruiter or hiring team for questions about your digital interview, including extensions, updates, or next steps. This feature is managed directly by the inviting company — not by interviewstream — so your messages go straight to the recruiter who sent you the interview.
Below are step-by-step instructions for accessing the Message Center on both desktop and mobile devices.
Please be aware that interviewstream Technical Support is not authorized by the inviting company to reset, extend a digital interview or answer any questions regarding the hiring process. Our role is to provide the software platform, but we do not manage the hiring process itself.
This also means:
We did not create or send your interview invitation.
We are not able to modify or reopen interviews on behalf of the hiring team.
We do not have visibility into recruiter response times. You’re welcome to message the recruiter through the Message Center as often as you feel is appropriate.
If a recruiter directs you to contact us for a reset or extension, please include them in the email or support ticket when you reach out. That way, our team can work with the recruiter directly to confirm their request and assist appropriately.

Accessing the Message Center on a Laptop or Desktop
Open the link for your digital interview.
Click “Message Center” located in the upper right-hand corner of the page.
(Screenshot below)Type your message in the text box and select “Send.”
The recruiter will review your message and respond directly.
Please note that interviewstream Support does not have
visibility into recruiter response times.
Accessing the Message Center from the Mobile App
Steps:

Open the interviewstream Mobile App from either the Google Play Store or App Store.
Download the interviewstream Mobile App using the App Store or Google Play icons shown on your interview page.
From your interview invite, capture the password.
Login with your email address and the password.
Tap the interview.

Tap the Message Center icon:
Android: Three dots, select 'Message Center'
Apple: Square with arrow at the top right corner
Type your message at the bottom of the screen and tap “Send.”
Your message sent and all responses will appear in the same area on the mobile app.

If the Message Center Does Not Appear
Please make sure that you click out (click on the 'X') so that the interview page is displayed. If your page does not look like the screenshot below, you may have to exit the Welcome or interview details.
After clicking the 'X' if you do not see the Message Center at all, please contact the recruiter or hiring manager directly using the contact information from your original interview invitation email. They will be able to assist you.
