How do I configure time zones on a Sequential Event Template?

This article is intended for Administrators with access to interviewstream (RIVS)

 

Sequential Event Templates choose what time zones to use based on two different things:

  1. The time zone of the internal participants
  2. The time zone is chosen by the external participant (or candidate) when scheduling via a scheduling Landing Page.

Examples:

Internal Participant External Participant Internal Email External Email
Eastern Central
  • Internal Participant: 'Eastern' is displayed
  • External Participant/Attendees: 'Central' is displayed 
 'Central' time zone is only displayed
Eastern Eastern
  • 'Eastern' is displayed for all participants
 'Eastern' time zone is only displayed
Central Eastern
  • Internal Participant: 'Central' is displayed
  • External Participant/Attendees: 'Eastern' is displayed 
 'Eastern' time zone is only displayed

 

To change the timezone used on a Sequential Event Template, it is necessary to change the time zones of the internal participants on that event.

 

You can configure the Internal Participants on the "Configure" tab of the event template. Each internal participant can configure their own time zone by clicking on the profile icon (in the top right corner of the screen along with the user's initials)
